Mellow Queen of the Desert, CD

I got Mellie in November of 1994 while
living in Arizona. Mel was a hand full as a puppy, well, she still is. She and I
are attached at the hip. She was and is a challenge to train, yet she is one of
the most intelligent dogs I have ever had the opportunity to work with. She
learns so fast, but she gets bored even faster! Mellie comes from pet quality
parents, which was fine for me since I had no intention of showing her. We began
with basic obedience when she was 6 months old. Turns out that I love Obedience
training and so does Mellie. At a year and a half we competed for her CD and
completed her first obedience title over 5 shows in 3 months. In her 3
qualifying legs, she placed 1st once and 2nd twice with an average score of 192!
She is retired and is resident couch
potato. She is the instigator of all trouble!
